FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY TASK !
Contemporary photographers
Davin munns is an award winning London based food and drink photographer. After completing foundation at Cat Hill, David went on to study photography at Bournemouth and Poole college of art and design. Shoreditch became his work place after returning to London in 1989, assisting a food and drink photographer, quickly graduating from 2nd assistant to shooting for his own clients .David’s first job was shooting Keith Floyd for a Kingsmill commercial. David set up his own studio in Clerkenwell in 1996 and has worked in the area ever since. In my opinion his pictures are very precise and well organised. On the pictures you can see that he has an eye for this. The composition of the pictures is well thought off and the colors are chosen to match the pictures. His pictures are very soft. And when looking at them is like u wanna take the product from the picture and eat it. The lightening and the conditions are very thought off. In some pictures I can see that he is using natural light, and in others he is using studio light (artificial).
Michael Michaels is a very know London food photographer. He had studied at the Salisbury Art College. This place brought him up to speed with the technicalities of the camera and gave me an understanding of lighting. He has worked for many different company's and advertising agencys. editorial to advertising, from start up to blue chip. The bigger names being clients such as Uncle Bens, Walls, Heinz, Perfect Pizza, Tesco, Sainsburys, M & S, Harrods and many more. Some nationally and some internationally. For him food photography is about capturing the essence of appetite appeal. To have someone look at a good food shot and feel their senses working immediately. Doing this in its simplest form, with minimal complication is what I aim to achieve. Michael from what I can see in his pictures usually uses a deep depth of field to give all his picture this interesting look and for people looking at the picture focus on the point that he wants us to. He uses natural light and artificial light in his pictures. He uses great colours and matches them together his composition is well thought of as.

Historical photographers
Martin Parr was born on the 23 May 195. He is a British documentary photographer, Photojournalist and photobook collector. He is known for his photographic projects that take an intimate, satirical and anthropological Look at aspects of modern life, in particular documenting the social classes of England, and more broadly the wealth of the Western world. His major projects have been rural communities (1975–82), The Last Resort , The Cost of Living , Small Worldand Common Sense.
Stephen Shore
stephen shore was born October 8th 1947 is an American photographer known for his images of banal scenes and objects in the United States, and for his pioneering use of color in art photography. In 2010, Shore received an Honorary Fellowship from The Royal Photographic Society. He has also made a lot of food photography in his time. his style of photograph is very orgonised in the pictures. in his food photography most of the pictures show plates of food on a table. in the style as you would sit down and eat it.

Final photoshoot
Plan for my final shoot
1. My photoshoot will take place at afternoon time. As I cant do it at day time. It will be done on the weekend when me and my model both have time to take the final photoshoot.
2. In my photoshoot the model will be wearing a light dress to harmonise with the location. Is going to be a white dress or it will be a cream dress she will be wearing shoos that will match with the dress. The make-up will be hard and dark. I am thinking of using red lipstick and black and silver shadows. The mae up on her eyes will contrast with her natural eye colour which is light blue. I want the model to look glamorous again to contrast with the location that I have chosen. Her hair is black and naturally curly so I want to make them really look alive and big to give it a nice effect.3.for my 3.location i have chosen a place called Bolton Abby, I will be taking pictures there in the old ruins and the grave yard that is placed there. I will try to take thepictures next to he grave yardsfor a nice effect. and next or on the ruins. there will be a nicecontrast between the glamours look of the model and the rough locations which will be grave yards and ruins. i will match the colour of the dress to harmonise well with the scenery.
4. The lightening that I will probably use will be the evening lightening. But I will also use flash light if the place will be to dark inside, because the light from the day might not be inside the building and it might be too dark.
5. The time frame will be that I will do the make-up and dressing up and trying on different jewellery in 1 hour. I will have to get all the equipment to the place which will take me about 15 mins as the places is very close to my house. The photo shoot should take me 1 hour or 1.5 hour.
6. I will have to tell my model to sign a release model form so that it is stayed clearly that I can use her pictures for my project so that later on there is no problems. In every shoot that a model will be present, the model has to sign a model release form.
7. For this location I will have to very carefully fill in risk assessment sheet because ruins, so there will be many risks that we will have to look out for in the shoot. So will have to look at all risks and figure out how to avoid them.
8. The equipment that I need will be probably a flash light that I will need to use to brighten up the models face I will probably need a stand and extra batteries. I might also need a flash light to help me get the models face visible. I will use my standard lens, which is 18mm – 105mm f4.5.
9. I have to prepared for the things that may not work out in my photo-shoot so I will prepare two or three dresses or more to be prepared for any difficulties. The weather will not really affect my pictures because they will be done in a indoore location.
10. The photoshoot that I will do is planned for a more mature audience but with a spicy age because of the location. So the audience that im looking at is more 19- 28 year olds. That like glamorus clothes and pictures but also like the rough kind of place that it will be done in.

Still life Photography
This is one of my favourite pictures. is a bracelet that is green with white colours. the bracelet is hanging from a tree. the only think that is in focus is the bracelet and part of the branch. I really like the way that everything is so out of contrast behind. it gives the picture a very nice effect and definition. The colours on the picture harmonises very well together. The picture has been done outside so the light is natural. the only thing that i dont like about this picture is that the pictures in my opinion is too light. so it means that it is over exposed.
This picture is a picture of a beautify silver flower neck less . This picture is done on a handrail focus in only the one flower on the neck less to make it look very interesting. the flower is the peace of the jewellery that i want peoples eye to be drawn to.. I like the colours of the picture because they harmonise very well with each over. The lightening on this picture is beautiful. It is shining right in the centre of the flower.
In this picture I was shooting a beautiful hart neck less. the neck less was silver with pink circles inside. the neck less was hanging on a small mannequins hand. the neck less is very nicely in contrast and the whole background with the mannequin is out of focus. I focus only the neck less in because it was the most important subject of the picture. it was the subject that I wanted to stand out. the picture was done out door so I have very nice lightening on the picture.
